back in school, finishing a cross stitch project is like finishing an eiffel tower. never mind the fact that i never studied or have any abilities when it comes to building towers. but as of recently, i returned to this hobby because i just needed something to do or the day will just be wasted as i will be sleeping all day long.
so here is one. i got the design from my calendar and as usual, it took me two days to finish this one. i know, i can finish it in one day but heck, it has been so long since i stitched anything so that explains the slowness of it.
stitching helps me to focus on something else. there are a few things that got me into thinking recently. how it seems funny to receive a breakup text (from friendship). i couldn't blog about it much because there was nothing to blog about. i wish that person well tho, whatever the person decides to do.
and the weather. omg, don't let me start on the weather. it is so hot during weekends that just sitting on the chair will drench me in sweat. i can't imagine my mom chasing after the little guy at home. no wonder she complains that it is very tiring to look after the little guy.
it is such a satisfaction to see the art becomes what you want to see. and even more satisfying to see someone appreciates the art.
but still, the question remains on what should i do with this thing. hurm
